“Mustang” was an important project
for catalysts manufacturer, Johnson Matthey.
When our Multi Discipline division were challenged
to supply a ‘one stop solution to all access needs’
for this prestigious project they provided the solution by
a unique combination of man elevated platforms, traditional
scaffold, mobile access towers, podium steps and razordecks.
The formula for the solution was engineered
by Peter Kay Estimating Manager for Multi Discipline and called
upon the partnership of our Manchester Hire and Sales branch
together with the vast experience of Multi Discipline’s
Scaffolding Supervisor Alan Cutler.
For the contract to succeed the Mechanical
Contractor, Boulting Group needed timely solutions for the
requested access requirements to the many multi level work
faces. With designs for the project coming through whilst
the fast track build was continuing our innovative approach
gave both the flexibility and quick response required.
With an on site presence for the scaffold
building of over twelve months this was a significant project
for the business. It was a first in many ways not only for
Deborah Services but also for our client Boulting Group and
the Johnson Matthey plant with the key players from each of
the companies attending a recent in depth post project de-brief.
At this meeting Deborah Services contribution
to the success of this project was highly commended for their
flexible approach and received accolades for completing all
the works without any accidents to their entire workforce.
