Jim Salkeld Snr, DSL Senior Operations Manager
of Deborah Services Limited, said, “Achieving 330,000
man hours without a lost time accident across four Magnox
sites is a tremendous achievement for our company and demonstrates
the high standard that has been set by our directors. It is
important that when everyone goes home after a day’s
work, they go home with no injuries or ill effects as a result
of their job. I would like to congratulate all our staff who
have worked so hard to achieve this milestone.”
DSL has received excellent written recognition
from the site Directors at Sizewell “A” and Oldbury,
both of whom commended DSL’s site management team and
their staff on safe delivery of works.
“This achievement would not have been
possible without the expertise of Jim Salkeld Snr, our Senior
Operations Manager, along with the commitment from all his
site managers and site teams”, said Chris Foulkes, Divisional
Director of Industrial Services at DSL. “They all collectively
had a common goal to maintain the high standard of the SHEQ
performance and I am confident that the teams will keep up
the excellent work as one accident is one accident too many.”

of all its employees, customers, the public and the environment.
