Last month Travis Perkins held a group hire conference at the Belfry in the West Midlands. Our Hire and Sales Division is a nominated “Gold Supplier” to the group and was invited to attend, this gave the Division the opportunity to have a period of direct interaction with all their management team.

Matt Croft, National Accounts Manager together with Faye Turner, our local Branch Manager in Birmingham headed up this presentation and used the opportunity to promote some new products currently under appraisal by Travis Perkins, such as the Rhino Load Deck System and Kerbhopper.

Over many years the Division has traded with various companies within the Travis Perkins Group, together with many other of the leading plant and tool hire shops in the UK. This sector helps provide the Division with an important source of revenue. Our widespread branch network together with our track record of supporting this sector both nationally and locally are key factors in the success.

Roger Hastie, Divisional Director who also attended the conference said “I was very pleased that during the day I spoke to various Travis Perkins Branch Managers, these individuals in turn speak to our employees around our branches on a daily basis. I only heard positive feedback and would like to thank all my staff who contribute to the division helping to develop our increasing trading relationship with the Travis Perkins Group.”
