At the end of July our Contract Scaffolding
branch in Truro erected a Stage for a Jazz Evening. The event
was held in the back garden of Roger Taylor, the drummer from
“Queen”.
Chris Robbins from the Helston Macmillan
Fundraising Committee wrote the following letter of thanks
to our staff:
“Thank you so much for supporting our
event at Heyle House at the end of July. Despite the dreadful
weather on the night, we had a wonderful evening and raised
over £4000. We could not have done this event without
you and your kindness in helping us in this way will mean
a great deal to the care we are able to offer cancer patients
and their families in Cornwall”
