We hold safety as a value not a priority, because priorities change, values do not!

The company is justifiably proud of its achievements in SHEQT through the development of our management system. The system is designed to enable line management to fulfil their roles in SHEQT by making each and every person in our team accountable for their own and others Health and Safety.

This creates an improved culture throughout the business from the behavioural changes in the attitude of our team towards SHEQT.

The ultimate responsibility for SHEQT lies with the Managing Director who will ensure it is given equal priority with other major business issues. The implementation of the policy and the safety management system is a line management responsibility and will involve the participation of all employees within the company.

We continually review our SHEQT strategies and constantly look for new innovative ideas to improve our management system. Objectives and Targets are established annually and reviewed monthly to establish their status information that is fed back into the company so all employees are aware. Thus creating an environment upon trust and respect and whereby everyone is an equal partner in the company.

We have received recognition of our systems through external audits carried out by organisations such as the British Standards Institute (BSI), BM Trada, Det Norske Veritas. At present we hold registration to: OHSAS 18001:2007 ISO 9001:2008 ISO 14001:2004 All members if our autonomous safety team are NEBOSH qualified as a minimum, which makes sure that our business always benefits from the best safety advice available. This ensures they are kept up to date with all the latest innovations which in turn gives our clients the assurance that DSL activities on their sites will always be to the highest standards.

Deborah Services and the NASC

We play a prominent role on a number of NASC Committees and including the safety committee and assist in setting the industry health and safety standards and guidance in best practice.

Training Packages Our bespoke internal training packages, managed by a dedicated training section within the safety team, are at the leading industry edge and guarantees that our employees are always the best informed and have the highest competence possible. In addition we hold a licence to deliver the much valued IOSH Managing Safely Course and have embarked on an intensive programme to train front line management to the standard.
